Royal visit on circulair entrepreneurship

at FastFeetGrinded

Her Majesty Queen Máxima, a member of the Netherlands Committee for Entrepreneurship and the Royal Family, paid a working visit to FastFeetGrinded, part of Heilig Group in Heerhugowaard on Wednesday, Feb. 15, in the context of circular entrepreneurship and innovation.

FastFeetGrinded has developed a shoe recycling installation that can recycle and return all types of shoes. The ambition to transform the international shoe industry into a circular industry fits well with the future vision of the Dutch Committee for Entrepreneurship.

Circular entrepreneurship

After an extensive tour of the world’s first shoe recycling company, there was then a conversation with Jacco Vonhof, president of MKB-Nederland, and others, about circular recycling and making an impact. In addition to FastFeetGrinded and Heilig Group, there were also representatives of suppliers, buyers of the raw materials, representatives of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency.
